I just love this cornflower blue linen vintage late 40s to early 50s dress I have just listed for sale on vintageclothing.com.auI can see this one at the Spring Racing Carnival with just the right hat, probably in the same lovely shade of blue. Short white gloves would just finish it off. Hope someone thinks the same as I love the idea of these unique dresses from the past being resurrected for a new life.
